Sometimes people are just too pretentious.

Lately I'm not doing so well in my studies. I guess mainly its my fault too.

Anyway, it got me thinking again.

What kind of students do the lecturers/teachers prefer?

A. Students who do their self study/sleep in class, seldom listen but score well.

B. Students who try their best to listen in class but never score.

C. Students who listen and score well. (This is not included in discussion)

I know lecturers will prefer those who score well, irrespective of how they behave in class, but I just can't take it when people show such disrespect for lecturers in class. (eg. studying calculus during physics class and get good grades for calculus and physics) Yes, I don't wanna judge but I'm just annoyed.

I'm not talking about how bad my scores are, but the things that I think are of higher significance. I guess this somehow affects my choice of universities. I mean, (since I have a not-so-good but an enough academic performance) I am applying to universities that are kind of low-ranked. I don't care about the rankings, let the survey board or usnews people to bother about rankings, I just want to enter somewhere to be a student.

Uni list: State University of New York in Buffalo, Stevens Institute of Technology, Iowa State university, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Illinois Institute of Technology.

Never mind, no matter which one I might get, I'm gonna be very happy too.

New York, New Jersey, Chicago and Iowa. Basically these 5 are here, and 2 of them in New York.

Just now an acquaintance asked me to help him to do something. No, he left his something on my table. He was expecting me to help. It's not that I don't want to help, but I have my things going on and I do hope that people can be considerate towards me too. I have 3 textbooks to carry to school tomorrow, so please don't expect me to carry your stuffs to school for you.

(and p/s: car issues again? Sorry la, I really don't mind telling you all I'm not going to Sunway initially and in the end go there alone. Seriously.)

It's my car. I took the trouble to drive from home to Shah Alam. I pay for stuffs. I am just me, is it wrong to think of myself first? I'm not that helpful, sorry. If you think I'm being selfish, that's just me, fuck it.

Things might not be good lately, but I am hoping for the best to happen. Well, maybe not, but just be nice to me, even if I fail Calculus.
