So today I went for a movie, no I meant movies, two.
The Beaver. Warhorse.
Then I bought 3 books, using my book voucher. I have RM55 voucher left now. =)

The Beaver was something I wanted to watch, I simply thought there would be a lot of struggles when the old man deals with himself, in the form of a puppet, talking to the puppet etc. What surprised me was the puppet had another voice, voiced by the man itself, meaning the he talks to himself as a beaver and he himself replies. Crazy, yes. Story was really not disappointing at all, with all his family members trying to get a breath out of a depressed father and husband, all trying to lead a life no different from normal people. Not too perfect, but was above average, something fresh for sure.

War Horse. Everyone kept telling me how nice it is, which is the main reason I went to watch. By word of mouth I also knew that it's supposed to be a tear bomb. Well, maybe today my tear glands is lazy. War horse, a lot of scenes enough to make your hair on your hands erect. Story, a lot of expected moments, but still able to trigger the itchiness of the long-buried-sensitive side of people's heart, or my heart, well maybe because of how it is presented. Awesome actors and actresses, emotions stirred, and great amount of love shown.
I just love how both deals with love, be it romance kind of love, or maybe friendship, or family, all satisfactory.
Had sushi for lunch, A&W for dinner, I'm glad both are something out of our usual plan.
Thanks parents-lecturers meeting for the opportunity of having a great day off.
