Chicago Restaurant Week started a week ago sort of. Snow storm Linus and all pushed the planned lunch to today, just Simon and I. Basically during Restaurant Week, which runs for 14 days, restaurants offer a few options to make up 3 course meals and charge 22 bucks for lunch, 33 or 44 bucks for dinner. Well I totally forgot to take photos of myself and/or the place, here are some food photos.
Roasted mushroom flatbread. Loved the cheese.
Pan fried oysters. Ordered this as an appetizer, but yeah was pretty okay.
Seafood stuffed shrimp. Mixed seafood stuffed to the end of 4 shrimps, nicely stuffed stuffs.
Whatever, New York Cheesecake.
And when I got home, here's what I did. Tried to finish my spaghetti/sauce/bacon/carrots as soon as possible. This is what I usually do, cook 4 to 5 boxes of food and keep them in the fridge. On weekdays when I need to eat, I'll reheat all these and add in the sauce. Saves time.
