What About Now

A few of the things people talk about these few days are the post about JPA sponsored students, MARA sponsored student who was caught with some stuffs in the UK, and several traffic accidents and stuffs.

I'm lucky enough to be one of those JPA sponsored students, and I'm super fortunate to have more than enough money even without working on campus. A lot of things the writer mentioned did not resonate, but it was a good piece. When a certain group of the society looked at it, I do not expect them to understand or agree. These people have the rights to condemn whoever they want to condemn, as long as the conversation is healthy. The writer is actually the housemate of a very close friend of mine. On a side note, most of the JPA scholarship applicants for the undergraduate scholarship were 17 or 18 at that time, so adults and old people, forgive them and forgive us for what we have done which have offended you.

Math genius. Again, I'm lucky enough to be a friend of a friend of a friend of the offender at Imperial College. The friend of the offender posted on facebook about how he should've helped the offender and mentioned his church helped him after he went to Imperial College and some bible quotes and how people shouldn't judge because they don't know the offender. The friend of the friend of this offender shared his post, and a friend of mine like the shared post and I saw it. Of course people have the rights to say what they want, more so on facebook. I'm totally for freedom of speech, expressing thoughts and discussing stuffs. First thing first, which is totally not significant and I do not want to offend anyone, but if the friend of the offender is such believer of God, don't feel bad for not observing the offender's behavior because your God sure has it all planned out for your offender friend. Well I'm not a Christian nor a Muslim so I cannot comment on that further.

And the friend of the offender said to not judge the offender as people don't know him? Really? I thought that's how the jury system, the judge, the aunties and uncles at kopitiams do. Unbiased. Okay maybe not the uncles aunties but seriously, this friend goes to that college and writes such things. ME IS impressed. Of course a majority of the society do not think before they comment, but I maintain a highly selective circle of acquaintances that I believe the comments I've seen so far suit the situation. I have not and will not condemn the offender for what he has done, he might have screwed up but that's not up to me to decide.

Somehow someway I don't want to go back to how our culture and education system but I can't seem to not mention it. WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT WHATEVER IMPERIAL COLLEGE. That's just us, running around in circles, being laughed at, still chasing these whatever these people are chasing. (I can't find the word to describe what it is because I really don't know, I'll call it Bacon for easier writing)

The other day some wise leader of some country passed away, and people mourned. (mourned they said, more like posting on social media and talking over meals, no emotions involved, what mourning is that) Then some dude came up with a video criticizing what the leader did, how bad of a person he was and such and such. This dude has good accent. This kid had people who hated him, and also new fans. I did not dare to like or share his videos because I'm a pussy and I don't wanna get arrested for shit. Here's what I think. The leader did what he had to do, a country went on to be a great country. There are always downsides to most of the things on this world, so you get the negatives mentioned by this kid. IT IS super easy to always point out things that people do wrong, but we take for granted what they do right and assume that's what they're supposed to do.

I myself felt nothing about his passing, probably because I never liked that country for the above mentioned downsides of the success of the country. Or maybe it was just I didn't know much about him. But when his son, (a significant figure as well) posted a collage, I just straight up ignored more and more news and stuffs about him. The photo was posted on facebook as well (sorry that's where most of my shit come from), consisted of three photos, one of the elder leader in Cambridge with his wife, one of the couple in Cambridge with his wife for their son's graduation, and one more of the couple in Cambridge after retirement. WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT WHATEVER CAM OR HAM. See good schools are good and all, but really it's not the school which makes you who you are. You are who you are. I'm not saying the offender is an offender, he might have become an offender while chasing Bacon.

A lot of times people really just look for Bacon in their lives. They want the big bucks, the perfection, the so called good education, the big cars, the reputation, the pride, the recognition, the shit looks on the faces of their haters, and everything else. People want stuffs, I get it. But seriously, people want so much of things that they can't manage it anymore. I'm not saying that this offender snapped or anything, just in general. There is no escape from the GREED. Damn I've mentioned a lot of this word in recent posts.

I am still a student for a few days, so I have only written things about schools and stuffs. I shall not go further until I really do some research or meditation. I do not know when will anything change for the better in our culture, but this is pretty sickening. Also I have not made any conclusions, only my personal observations and opinions. I am truly lucky to be a friend of the friend of the friend of the friend of the offender and a friend of the friend of the writer.

Btw the writer is passionate about what he writes, is a political science major IINM, mostly unbiased, and I like him. I do not know him and he does not know me.
